Styling my sis.

so my sister just left today to have her 2-month-vacation in the Philippines (lucky much)

She was never a fond of the fashion world although I would always rub in her face how hideous her hoodies look, how awful her color palettes are, and how bad she is at putting an outfit together.

She is basically just a “jeans-and-blouse” kind of girl (paired up with a classic chucks), even a ballet flats would be “too girly” for her, and she considers tank top only as an underwear.

Surprisingly, she asked me for a fashion advise on what she would be wear on her flight back home, and as shocked as I was, I was also very excited to get her a look I have been trying to squeeze in her wardrobe for the longest time.

the skinny jeans was originally hers, this is what she usually wears with her sneaker. The jeans fits lovely on her, and it’s the right shade of denim I was looking for, so I worked around that. mind you, I don’t really know much bout womenswear but i know that this season, boyfriend fit blazer is the “it” big trend for ladies, so I bought her one from Zara, the shoes was from Franco Sarto and the statement tank top and the bando was from Aritcia.

Etro wrinkled my shirt.

I wore this a couple of days ago. It was a lovely sunny day, love the spring wind. I dug this BananaRepublic pink long-sleeved v-neck tshirt from mom’s bag of old and to-be-thrown-away clothing. It was the most comfortable thing I can remember putting on, the fabric is very flow-y although you can see the neck line a little destroyed and loosen — WHICH i love because it looks very effortless and laid back. ANTM & Project Runway Canada finale.

I was pretty sad about the last episode because London was eliminated. I was originally routing for Celia, Fo, London and Allison… I thought Aminat should’ve gone home. London has consistently brought GOOD, if not, alright photos… and she’s been awesome, admittedly, that last photo shoot was very dreadful. I could totally understand because she was a little insecure about the fact that she gained weight. I just wished she could’ve pull that aside.

she seemed like she really did gain few lbs. but like they say, as a model, it is her job to keep her weight.

MEANWHILE…

project runway canada season 2 finale was last night, I’m happy Sunny won, EVERYONE knew he was going to win, it was the EASIEST decision the judges had to make. I LOVE HOW he has been so nice to everyone in the competition, and how he stayed SO HUMBLE throughout the whole time. He’s been the front runner since the beginning and he made this season very predictable. He won ALMOST every single challenge so there’s 0 surprise there.
